Still Hopefully the Coolest Club Ever

Ran into a bit of a snag getting the original order of books for the CYOA Club I'm starting up. Turns out the school had some concerns about ordering used books because some of them had writing in them. Gasp! Could some deviant have already tried mapping out these books? What a spoil sport!

Anyway, since most of those in the original order are no longer in print, I had to make a new order. Thankfully, cyoa.com came to the rescue on that one. Check out their website... we're getting several orders of "The Whole Enchilada."

Should be able to start sessions of the club next week! I'm so excited. I think first we'll go with Journey Under the Sea... thereafter all book choices will be up to the students!

Also, looking into starting up a service learning program at local high schools. Have to talk to the curriculum director about that, though. We'll see how that goes.

Hopefully the Coolest Club Ever

Soon I will be starting up a new after-school program at a local elementary school: The Choose Your Own Adventure Club! There have been a few hold ups thus far... I need to have a criminal background check done and the lady who does the fingerprinting is apparently out of town for the week. However, I'm more excited than ever because I just recently submitted a requisition sheet requesting books for the club. Hopefully we will get them all. If you know of any others that should be added to the list in the future or have any comments to make regarding any of these books, please feel free. Here follows the list of CYOA Club hopefuls...

The Abominable Snowman
Journey Under the Sea
Space & Beyond
The Worst Day of Your Life
Deadwood City
The Cave of Time
Outlaw Gulch
The Brilliant Dr. Wogan
The Curse of the Haunted Mansion
